How can I move Forex Tester 3 to another machine?
If you use Forex Tester 3, then please register it with the same key on your new computer. In this case, the registration will be moved to this new machine automatically.
Please do the following:
- Download Forex Tester 3 to your new computer (you can download it here: https://forextester.com/files/ForexTesterSetupEng3.exe)
- Install it on your computer
- Go to Help → Register program
- Enter your name, email, and registration key
- Click the "Activate" button
- Click the "Restart program" button
- Enjoy the full version of Forex Tester 3
If the registration failed: Please close the program and run it again as administrator, then try to register it again.
To transfer the data please follow these simple steps:
- Open C:\ForexTester3 (by default) on your old PC
- Copy the Projects, Templates and Data folders to an external drive
- Replace these 3 folders in Forex Tester folder on your new PC
